At Pluto Group, we recognize that we bear a great responsibility in relation to the social, economic and climate challenges we experience today – but we also see a great opportunity to positively influence these challenges. We emphasize that our work with sustainability is rooted in our company at all levels and it is a core value for us that there is transparency and accountability in the way we do business.

 

WHAT DO WE DO?

 

As a basis for everything we do, we comply with national legislation. We are aware of our social responsibility; of our responsibility for social, environmental and economic sustainability. We are committed to the ten principles of the UN Global Compact, and we make these operational by applying the global minimum standard for social responsibility:

The UN Guiding Principles on Human Rights and Business and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises.

We will continuously identify, prevent and mitigate potential negative impacts that we may cause or contribute to on core international principles for human rights, the environment and anti-corruption.

 

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM OTHERS?

 

We expect our employees to act in accordance with this policy in their daily work and thereby assist us in meeting our commitment. We expect them to seek to prevent or mitigate negative impacts and to raise any concerns with their management.

 

We expect our business relationships to also adhere to the global minimum standards for social responsibility as reflected in this policy. We will make clear to our business relationships our expectation that they seek to prevent adverse impacts on human rights, the environment and anti-corruption, and that they address actual adverse impacts should they arise.

If we become aware of unintended significant negative impacts in our business relationships or in our value chain, we will use or build influence to get the company in question to address these and demonstrate respect for international core principles for human rights, the environment and anti-corruption.

Our policy is publicly available and communicated both internally and externally. To reflect the ongoing implementation of this policy, we will review this policy every two years.
